This was another good week for the family. This week, Baby Luke got his first bottle and seemed to enjoy it, Rachael's sister Angie had to go home after a great week-long visit, and Grandma came to visit and help with Baby Luke. The week started off rough because Rachael was not feeling too good. She had a temperature and flu-like symptoms, but she got some medicine from the doctor and feels much better now. Please continue to pray for our family.

Here is our first attempt at adding some video. It is a quick video of Baby Luke talking to Mom (with the hiccups). We hope you enjoy it.

Baby Luke - One Month Old... Already
Everyone said that the time would fly by and they were right. We can not believe it, but Luke is a month old tomorrow... wow. He has truly blessed our lives and we can not imagine our lives without him. This past week, Rachael's sister came to visit. We have enjoyed having her with us. Thanks again to everyone for your support and prayers.

Baby Luke - Week 2
Baby Luke had a couple of milestones this week, he passed his birth weight and weighed in at a whopping 7 lbs 3 ozs, he grew half an inch to 20. 5 in long and he got his first bath. Rachael's mom and dad came from Colorado to Texas to see their first grand baby. We had a great time with them. Being a parent is really cool. Please pray for our family.

Baby Luke... Week One (and a half) Pictures
We have had a great first week and a half with Baby Luke and are truly blessed to have such a wonderful baby boy. We really appreciate all the kind comments, words of encouragement, and the food from all of you... we have really enjoyed it all. We have also enjoyed visits from grandmas, grandpa, friends (old and new), and neighbors... thanks to everyone. Mom and baby are still doing great. We are settling into a routine and everyone is getting some sleep. Please continue to keep our new little family in your prayers.
